The Natural Born Skater comp reached it’s final at Ramp City, Blackpool, and there was a great turnout with the big ones like the little ‘uns going off all over the place.
In Street it was Ollie Tyreman that claimed first place, closely followed by Chris Ault and Rogie. These three have already been tipped as a future force to be reckoned with, but now it’s obvious!
For the little Under 16’s it was Jack Morris that got first place ahead of Alex de Cunha in second and Joe McGuffog in third. Whilst over on the vert ramp, the next generation was out to shine as Sam Beckett grabbed first place ahead of Paul-Luc Ronccetti.
Finally, the best trick took place on the rail set-up (Ed. When are they going to do a best trick comp on a carpark curb..?) where Eddie Belvedere threw a massive frontside flip over the rail, whilst Channon Wallace tamed a beautiful bluntslide for prizes.

A new skateshop has opened it’s doors in London – the Camden, Cantelowes area to be more precise, and it’s called Tuesday. Why? I’m not sure, but the place looks very clean, they stock all your favourite brands and the staff are more than helpful.
Work has been underway at the Works Skatepark in Leeds to create a new driveway. The obstacle will be big, so Powley and co. built a big bank to drop in from and a hubba is planned for the left hand side of the master piece.
The modern day freak fest that is Jackass will be debuting it’s second film in September. That’s right! More shits and giggles with Johnny Knoxville and Co. as they enjoy the company of poisonous snakes and the ride of jet propelled bikes to drop a few gems of what to expect.

Nobody can deny that skateboarding and art are synonymous on more than one level, so when the premier venue for modern Art- the Tate Modern in London- decides to put on a show that incorporates skateboarding, it’s obviously worth checking out.
