Not quite, but it is Nicky Guerrero’s 30th anniversary of pushing the wood.

But instead of the traditional gift of pearls, those resistible fellows at Eastpak are making sure the celebration goes down with a bang by holding a glorious skate jam and signing session at The Works in Leeds on April 27th.

In addition to this, Eastpak have teamed up with Nicky to create a bag that truly is ‘built to resist’. The limited edition bag (1000 in total) will be on sale at the Route One at the jam.

At £8 entry, you can’t really lose. Nicky is pure carnage, help him celebrate in style.

Due to be polished off and premiered shortly, the Ipswich scene video, ‘Ipsvillage‘, by Sam Barker will no doubt be worth a look in.

The likes of Lee Blackwell, Dave Davis, Adam Howe and Nick Williamson have full sections, so it’s obviously one to get excited for. To make sure you know what happens, as it happens, get a clicking onto the video’s myspace.

Mada have gained a new member to their solid skate team.

Zero Skateboards rider Sheldon Meleshinski has an advert scheduled with Mada dropping in Transworld very soon and is also able to shred with just one eye, so keep a look out for this fella.

Rasa Libre seem to be back on track after leaving their last distributor in 2006. Matt Field and Nate Jones have repositioned the company and launched with new boards and clothing keeping the stylish art element to the brand as it was before.
