Metal overlords Slayer will be releasing a limited edition single called Cult on June 6th. The single will include a live video of the track and some rare fan video footage. The single will preceed their new album, yet to be titled, which is due out on July 25th.

Detroit Death Metal behemoths Black Dahlia Murder will return for a string of headline dates in the UK this month. Support at all shows comes courtesy of Dutch hardcore masters Born From Pain and Century Media recording artists Maroon.

It’s a busy time for Rose Hill Drive – Their self titled debut album will hit the shops on July 24th and they’ve just been brought in as the support for legends The Who at their Hyde Park concert. It’s official – Wu Tang’s Raekwon has signed for Dr Dre’s Aftermath label.
Even though it was known that Dre had provided some beats for the upcoming Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2, and Aftermath newcomer Busta Rhymes is an executive producer on the album, it was thought the album would be released by one of the Wu’s labels. However, it is to be put out as a joint venture by Aftermath and one of Wu’s enterprises.
Can it possibly live up to the first Cuban Linx album? Watch this space…
