Dizzee Rascal is one of the acts to play this year’s BBC Electric Proms.
The rapper will play on October 21st with a live band [Young Punx] and a string sections. Other artists confirmed for the event are Florence And The Machine, Doves, Metronomy and legendary singer Smokey Robinson. More acts will be announced in the coming days and tickets are available now from here.
Super Furry Animals have announced that they will play a one-off London show.
The band, who are also playing in Manchester, will play the HMV Forum on October 9 and will showcase material from their latest album Dark Days/Light Years.
