Heavy metal gods Motley Crue are set to release their new live album ‘Carnival of Sins – Live!‘ on May 8th through SPV Records.
The 2 CD set comes as a collectable Digipak and features bonus enhanced video material, along with over 100 hit-laden minutes of patented Motley madness.
Their fantastic 2001 autobiography ‘The Dirt’ is set to be released as a full-length motion picture before the end of the year, with the band set to return to European soil in June for a string of festival dates.

Ex-Pantera front man Phil Anselmo’s Down are going to be playing some shows in the UK as part of their European tour and have announced that they will be filming during the tour for their upcoming DVD. The tour kicks off in Germany before going through Holland, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, France and Scandinavia. According to reports, a new Down album started on at the end of this year.

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is in court today after pleading guilty to possessing crack, cannabis and heroin. The sentence given to him was a community order with 2 years’ supervision, an 18th month rehabilitation programme and a six month driving ban, meaning he avoided jail time, which had been a possibility.
