New Maiden Album Incoming!

Metal legends Iron Maiden are currently recording their new album in London. The album, their fourteenth studio effort, will be called A Matter Of Life And Death and is due out in August. Producer Kevin Shirley has said of the album:

“I feel from the outset we all clicked on this one. We spent two months in the studio, from Go to Whoa – from Nicko’s ‘tubs up’ to final mixes and sequenced master! Producing Iron Maiden is like sitting in the head and driving one of those mammoth automatons from Star Wars or Saturday morning cartoons! And there’s nothing that can stop it!”

Supervision Order For Beatles Man

Nigel Oliver, the man who has been charged with trying to sell stolen Beatles recordings, has been put under a 2 year supervision order, after being found unfit to plead.

The Judge claimed that he would have given a sentence of 4 years but that since Oliver was not fit to stand trial, the supervision order would be handed out instead and will include mental health observation.
