Following 2 performances at the Reading / Leeds Festival, Hope Of The States have confirmed they have split up. The band recently released their second album, Left, the follow up to their debut The Lost Riots. In a statement, the group said:
“We can walk away at this point as friends and be increasingly proud of what we have done. Thank you to everyone for all your support and the incredible times we have shared with our fans and supporters”

Dry Kill Logic are back with a new album called Of Vengeance & Violence, due out on October 26th. The 13 track album will be, in the words of singer Cliff Rigano:
Kasabian have moved two of their dates due to scheduling complications. Their show at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, originally slated for December 8th, will now take place on December 21st and the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena show has been move from the 10th to the 22nd of December. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.
Carl Barat’s Dirty Pretty Things are releasing Wondering, from their Gold selling album Waterloo To Anywhere, on September 25th. In addition to this, they will be putting out a DVD called Puffing On A Coffin Nail, Live At The Forum on October 16th.
Brooklyn’s Mos Def will bring out his new album, Tru3 Magic, on September 25th. The album will feature production from Kanye West, Pharrell and Rich Harrison and will be preceeded by a digitally available EP.
Chicago’s Lupe Fiasco, who broke into the charts with Kick Push, is back with a new single. Daydreamin‘ will feature Jill Scott and is due out on September 4th and will be followed by the album Food And Liquor on September 18th. The album will feature Jill Scott, Kanye West and Mike Shinoda and has Jay Z as an executive producer.
