Director Dre?

Dr Dre is planning to go into the movie business.

The American rapper and producer has apparently signed a deal with New Line films in the hope of making comedies and horror films, getting involved in both production and the musical elements.

He said that since he’s directed a lot of music videos, it’s a natural switch for him, and that he eventually wants to go into directing.

Pete Doherty banned from the Brits

Kate Moss has banned Pete Doherty from attending the Brits.

The supermodel has apparently told her other half not to go to the Brit Awards because, allegedly, she is jealous of the singer’s friendship with Lily Allen who is going to be at the Brits herself.

The Mirror claimed that Moss found a present from Allen to Doherty at his house and was far from pleased about it.

So now the question is whether Pete will follow orders or turn up for a bit of drama!

Klaxons dream of rap

Nu-Rave/Indie/Whatever high flyers Klaxons have admitted they’d love to work within rap.

Jamie Reynolds from the group has apparently said that Klaxons would love to work with Dr Dre or Snoop at some point. His bandmate James Righton is quoted as having said:

“I think it’s exciting that white boys can work with big R&B producers. It’s weird that it’s a new phenomenon. I couldn’t work out why it has never happened before, what with the melodies of (indie) blending so well with beats – now it’s like the thing to do. We would very much like to make an R&B record. If we could afford it”.

Now put yo glo-sticks in the air and wave ’em around like you just don’t care bitches!
