ETID recording new album

Every Time I Die are currently recording their new album in California.

The band said that the album, entitled The Big Dirty, is “chock-a-block with riffs” and went on to say that they would be giving their fans “ironically distasteful rock and roll pretenses…riffs so filthy they should have a moustache and wear elastic work out pants when they go out to eat…mosh parts so brutal it could star opposite Charles Bronson in ANY of the Death Wish movies”.

Can’t really say better than that can you?

Morrissey won’t join up with Smiths

Morrissey won’t be joining up with The Smiths when they are inducted into the 2008 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Reports say that, although the nominees haven’t been announced, The Smiths will be one of the bands honoured at next year’s induction. The reason Morrissey won’t be joining them if they are inducted is because of the likely appearance of former drummer Mike Joyce.

Joyce pursued a law suit in the mid-90s against the band for royalties and a source said:

“The only way he could be persuaded to turn up would be if Joyce decides not to attend”.
