Last Minute F***ed Up Gig

Our favorite Canadians F***ed Up will play Camden’s Barfly tomorrow (that’s Thursday folks) as part of a special XFM show alongside Rolo Tomassi.

They will also headline PUSH at London’s Mean Fiddler this Saturday night at the ungodly hour of 2am, hot-stepping it from that same night’s gig in Brighton gig in order to scare the London indie kids.

New ManMakeMusic Clubnight

ManMakeMusic have finally found a place to call home this winter. A hand picked selection of international headliners will play extended two and a half hour sets in the unusually intimate setting of The Last Days of Decadence a brand spanking new venue on Shoreditch High Street in East London. Expect quality peak time selections from some of dance music’s greatest DJs and innovators, old and new.

This club night will premere on November 8th, then continue on the Second Saturday of every month. You’ll pay £6 on concession lists/adv tickets before 10pm and then £8 after, it will be free before 9pm.

Deftones bassist in car accident

Chi Cheng, bassist for Sacramento-based rock band, Deftones, has been hospitalized for injuries resulting from a serious car accident which occurred on Monday November 3rd. Cheng is currently under doctors supervision in an Intensive Care unit. He is in a serious but stable condition. Cheng’s mother urges everyone to say a prayer for his recovery.

No further details about Chi’s condition are available at press time. Members of his band, Deftones, along with family and friends request privacy at this time.

We had the pleasure of watching this band rehearse a little while ago and they are one of the tightest bands around. Look out for them.

Gaslight Anthem single and tour incoming

The Gaslight Anthem have been causing waves with their supreme sound.

They will release their second single from ‘The ’59 Sound’ called ‘Old White Lincoln’ on December 1st and also sign some stuff at the Vans store in Carnaby Street on the same day. Whatever you do, don’t miss this tour as this could be the last you will see them in smallish venue.
