Boris release new 7″s

Japanese metallers Boris will be releasing three 7″s this year.

The band will release on 7″ per month starting this month which fans can either buy individually or as a pre-order for the whole series. The pre-order comes with a fourth 7″ and a t-shirt. The tracklistings are:

Massive Attack still a long way from new album

Massive Attack have spoken about their new album.

3D from the group has said that they have already gotten rid of two versions of the album but that they are working hard making the new racks and rehearsing in Bath. Bandmate Daddy G had previously mentioned that they’d been working with Guy Garvey from Elbow, Martina Topley-Bird and Damon Albarn on LP5. Their Splitting The Atom EP is released on October 5th.

Klaxons announce single details

Klaxons have announced details of a new single.

The band will release a cover of Sweetheart by Suicide as a digital download and 10″ vinyl [only 3,000 copies will be made] on October 1st.

The single is part of a series of releases celebrating Alan Vega’s 70th year with The Horrors, Peaches, Grinderman, Mogwai and Iggy Pop also involved.

Graham Coxon announces solo show

Graham Coxon has announced a London gig.

The Blur guitarist, who played a series of high-profile shows with the band over the summer, will play with The Graham Coxon Power Acoustic Ensemble at London’s Barbican on November 28th.

He’ll be releasing double A-side single Brave The Storm b/w Dead Bees on September 28th.
