Habitat Skateboards is “Movin Right Along”

Ph: Silas Baxter Neal is Moving Right Along.

silas_baxter_neal

It prevails. Habitat Skateboards is not over, it’s very much alive and has found new home at the Tum Yeto Collective, so hold those features on the best years of the brand, hold back on the memories of your favourite graphics and team riders, Habitat’s heart is beating again as of today. Amazing news. Check out the rad new promo video below and well done to all involved who have worked their socks off to make this a reality.

Let’s hope that Alien Workshop has a similar revival. Look out for a Neil Blender and J Mascis interview about that on here next week.

Check out this Slovakian pallet skateboarder

pallet_skateboarder_slovakiaBratislava local Tomáš Moravec here decided to modify standard European pallet so he can get about the city with ease and essentially designing a new form of transport due to the following:

“The space between the tram tracks in Bratislava is 435 mm narrower than the gauge of tracks in Prague or Pilsen (1435 mm). The wooden europallet, a basic feature of any warehouse or storage hall, with its standartized 1200×800 mm dimensions, when modified can only run on the tracks in Bratislava.”

It seems as though Tomáš has more up his sleeve with the Blender style antics below too..scroll down.

Enjoi art classics deck series

Trust the fun makers at enjoi to carve out their own versions of classic art pieces this month. Louis Barletta’s mug fits the Mona Lisa image perfectly and his new pro model rolls out as a 7.75″, Judkins and Weiger’s come in 8″ and Jose Rojo’s at 8.25″. Look out for these in your local skate shop soon but Note have online them already in the UK.

Question is, when will wee see Ben Raemers name on the underside of an enjoi deck? Hopefully soon.

Following Richie Jackson’s kickflip Natas Spin earlier this year, Jordan Sanchez has added his own version with a Natas Spin kickflip out as seen on photographer Garric Ray’s instagram account today.

There’s a full section coming soon apparently to the Thrasher site but until then, this is a beauty.
