Metallers Deicide are marking the 6/6/6 night next week [June 6th 2006] with a special EP which will come out via iTunes.
The EP will feature two tracks, Crucified For The Innocence [666 mix] and Homage For Satan [666 mix] and will be a preview of the group’s next album The Stench Of Redemption which is due out on August 21st.
DJ Shadow has been forced to cancel some UK shows because of paperwork problems.
His manager explained that the rappers who were due to perform with him had problems with passports and visas and so had to cancel the shows as the paperwork wouldn’t have arrived in time.
It is believed rescheduling might happen but refunds are definitely available from the venues and ticket sellers.
Larger-than-life rapper Busta Rhymes is playing 3 dates in the UK this month in support of his new album Big Bang, which is due out on Monday [5th]. The dates are:
15th: London Hammersmith Apollo
17th: Manchester Apollo
21th: Nottingham Arena

June 6th, National Emo Kid Beatdown? Necessary?
Wu Tang’s ultra-producer The RZA is to write the score for a new animated martial arts series which is due to be shown on US TV in the autumn.
The show, called Afro Samurai, is an animated show that features the voice of Samuel L. Jackson and will be based on a graphic novel by Takashi Okazaki, which centres around a black samurai that wants revenge on his father’s killers.
It’s not the first time RZA has penned film scores, as did the music for Kill Bill, Blade: Trinity and Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai.
Def Jux’s Rob Sonic has just done a new mix of a track from the new Dr Octagon album.
The track is called A Gorilla Driving A Pickup Truck and Sonic has slammed out the Road Rage Mix. The album, The Return Of Dr Octagon, is due on the 27th of June. Can’t wait!

Metal overlords Slayer will be releasing a limited edition single called Cult on June 6th. The single will include a live video of the track and some rare fan video footage. The single will preceed their new album, yet to be titled, which is due out on July 25th.
