Death updates

This news is a little old, but the holiday season has a tendency to delay things like anyone traveling through London airports will know… Meanwhile Kev is now spinning Death Urethane, whilst the Death website has been updated with team profiles for Dave Allen, Boots and Zarosh.

On a side note, Kevin McKeon is also one of the elite members of the Crossfire Clothing team. More about that when our new Crossfire site launches this year.

Xmas Jam gets props

Following the carnage of this years Crossfire Xmas Jam, the event has managed to attract a 2 page feature with sequences from head photographer Sam Ashley in Document Magazine. This new issue also has an in depth interview with Death skater Dan Cates, a Blueprint feature in the South of France and time with Ben Grove amongst other stuff.

Sidewalk Magazine went further with a whopping 6 page feature with sequences from Dom Marley and Leo Sharpe and a full write up from Andy Evans who was lurking behind the lens as usual.

The January issue also has a strong Leo Smith interview, coverage of Deathrace 06 and Boardroom Xmas Jam write ups and a Heathen trip to Europe we mentioned back in November.

Big thanks to Percy and Ben who edit these mags, now go get a copy.

Skateboarding goes global

A new trend is spreading through the industry like wildfire… Globalisation.

The Industry won’t settle with American companies setting up their cloned companies abroad in Europe and Asia, because various European companies are now going global with full international teams ready to drop for 2007.

The new face of skateboarding is here and it looks good.

Donny Tourette to get pounded?

Jeff Turner, frontman of Cockney Rejects, has challenged Donny Tourette of Towers Of London fame [well, maybe fame isn’t the best word] to a fight. The band, who refer to his band as the Showers Of London have said on their official site:

“Now they pop up everywhere claiming to be the ‘new’ Cockney Rejects, even though tough hardman Donny Tourette was so tough and so hard that he ended up leggin’ it over the wall after failing to go two rounds with Jade and her mum in the ‘Big Brother’ house. G&R Records are prepared to sponsor a bout between Donny Tourette and Mr Turner at West Ham Boxing Club to raise money for charity (the St. John’s Ambulance being the obvious choice, as they will have the job of scraping him off the floor when it’s over)”.
