Relentless presents NASS Festival line-up

Relentless NASS returns on June 13th-15th for three days of action sports and live music at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Somerset. The highly charged festival boasts stunning demonstrations of action sports, amazing live bands, an extensive trade and adrenaline village, paintball arena and climbing area.

This year, NASS is cramming in more action sports than ever before, including everything from skate to FMX. The Vans European skate team will be making their very first appearance at the festival and Tony Hawk protégé Jean Postec will be attempting to match his mentor by completing the near impossible fakie-to-fakie 900. The King Ramps vert ramp will also be playing host to some of the best riders on the US circuit who’ll be taking time out from the world renowned Action Sports Dew Tour.

Another feature of the weekend will be a top-end BMX course with some of the world’s most notorious riders including UK heavyweights, Mark Webb and Dew Tour 07 victor Daniel Dhers, battling it out to take home some of the total event prize purse of over $80,000.

The Strokes work on new album

The Strokes are gearing up for work on a new album.

The band’s last album, First Impressions Of Earth, was released in January 2006 and the band haven’t done anything since they completed touring in support of that record. However, bassist Nikolai Fraiture has said:

“I’d like to say that I’m still looking very forward to a fourth album release. We just need to work out a few technical kinks…It’s been a long break but much needed for us to remain together as a productive band”.
