Anagram Think Flat

‘Think Flat, Think Green” is a new feature that French company Anagram Skateboards are running this month.

It’s very simple, you take your board, find a gap that’s 5 or 6 steps high and you do an ollie one foot over it. The objective is to do tricks in as green an environment as possible [clothes, paint, trees etc].

There are 2 ways of winning:

1. Speed: Be the first to send in your video
or
2. Creativity: Be the most creative, be it through the spot, the way the tricks are filmed etc.

To be entered, the clip must fulfill the following conditions:

No music
No special effects
The skate has to announce “Think Flat, Think Green” at the start or the end of the film.

Each of the 2 winners will get an Anagram board, gripped, in the size of their choice [stocks allowing] and the names and the videos of the winners will go up on the Aragram site. To enter it, upload your video to Youtube, Daily Motion etc and send it with your full name, postal address and direct link to the video to contact@anagramskateboards.com

Bad Brains documentary in the making

News fresh from Rior Records last night revealed that there’s a brand new documentary on Bad Brains being made in the US right now with interviews from various hardcore heads that you can see in the trailer below. There’s no doubt that Bad Brains were one of the most explosive punk bands to ever grace our ears so this should be a great journey back in time to when they literally blew the scene a new a-hole. Shepard Fairey has also collaborated with Glen E. Friedman and Bad Brains on a limited edition print that will be released in the next few weeks at the OBEYGIANT web site so look out for it.
