Pioneer Skatepark in St Albans will open it’s doors for a rocking event on 14th February this year featuring various bands and a skate jam open to all. Lovestock starts at 1pm, tickets are £10 for the full day and you never know, you may even pick up a tight unit for your troubles seeing it’s Valentines Day. Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson is launching a competition to find the best remix of his track Abandoners from the upcoming Insurgentes album [released March 9th via KScope]. The winning entry will then be added to an official Steven Wilson release in the coming months.

There are absolutely no restrictions on what genre the remix is, giving fans and music lovers the chance to put their own individual spin on the track perhaps bringing in some Drum n Bass, some metal or some straight up pop.
