Aggronautix has just released limited-edition figures of GG Allin “1991” (2000 numbered) and Tesco Vee of the Meatmen (1000 numbered). Each “Throbblehead” figure stands at 7 inches tall, is made of a lightweight polyresin, and will be displayed in a tri-windowed box.

Liverpool thrash metal, wrecking ball SSS come to London on Saturday 23rd May for the Slaughterday Festival taking place at the Purple Turtle in Camden, London.
SSS drummer Dave Fergusson is back on tour and says
“I’m looking forward to going down to London again this Saturday to play. Loads of boss bands on the bill and hopefully my drum stool won’t break like last time in front of 300 people, on my arse with legs in the air haha!! Gonna be playing songs off The Dividing Line and our first LP. After this, I think we’re gonna hibernate for a bit to finish writing our third album, so get your long and short-haired heads down there and join in the madness!”

It’s The Bronx, Jim, but not quite as we know them. When Matt Caughthran and his merry men first appear on stage tonight, the majority of the crowd is clearly amused and bemused in equal measures, as tonight the much-loved hardcore rockers are supported by their own alter-ego, Mariachi El Bronx. Dressed in traditional mariachi dress and accompanied by three violinists and a trumpet player, it’s odd to witness these purveyors of aural chaos in such a smooth, suave context. They sound great though, and it only takes a few songs before loud applause and shouts of “Arriba!” echo around the room.
Interval entertainment arrives next, in the form of performance artist Simon Subvert. He dissects a toy rabbit, and then sets to work on various parts of his own body with nails, razorblades, and other sharp instruments. A darker, more realistic shade of fake blood wouldn’t have been a bad idea, but even so, he makes us feel slightly ill – which was probably the point.
So there’s a sense of relief when The Bronx return, and fuck me, they do not disappoint in the slightest! Right from the start, this is pure, unadulterated, visceral, turbocharged rock n’ roll chaos; the kind that too few bands can deliver these days. The pit steadily swells in size as the band unleash the likes of ‘They Will Kill Us All (Without Mercy)‘ and ‘Shitty Future‘ onto the grateful, sweat-soaked, flailing mass in front of them, and there is simply no let up in energy throughout what seems like a painfully short hour-long set.
Seriously, folks, this is what rock n’ roll should be about – passion, vitality, but above all, unpredictability. Mariachi El Bronx may be a brave (and very much worthwhile) side-project, but The Bronx shouldn’t – nay, mustn’t – give up the day job when they’re on such blistering form.

The 80s skatepunk legends are back and it’s like they’ve never been away, playing the old classics plus premium cuts from the brand new album “The Kids Don’t Like It” ready to be released on Boss Tuneage Records this summer.
To celebrate this new release after many years of not punking it up, the Stupids have joined up with Shitty Limits and Section 13 at the Old Blue Last in Old Street for a night of hardcore bliss.
Doors are 8pm, get there early.
The Ghost of A Thousand‘s insanely good album is released on 1st June via Epitaph. Titled ‘New Hopes, New Demonstrations‘, the first song to be lifted from this monster of a full-length is called ‘Bright Lights‘ and we have the video available for your viewing pleasure here.
Also look out for them live as they ripped a hole in the Great Escape festival down in Brighton this weekend with a ferocious live set which was talked about around Sussex the entire weekend.
Death skateboards riders Lee Dainton and Dan Cates fill a void on a Sunday afternoon whilst it pisses with rain down in Wales. The Death blog says that.. ‘He is in good spirits though, even ripping a classically timed fart in the ambulance mans face literally 3 mins after the break, then laughed/screamed his way to hospital.
