Go back in time to 1999 and watch the first ever Static trailer that previewed in 411 what was to come from Forrest Kirby, Jeff Lenoce, Paul Zitzer, Joel Meinholz, Sean Mullendore and Jake Rupp.
The late 90’s Southsea skate video, Pigeon, is online for the first time. Filmed by Keith Martin and Paul Gonella in 1998 and January 1999, this scene video features Portsmouth and London spots, many of which are no more. The skating is of a really high standard and the video has a true DIY feel. Many of the songs used are by skaters (including Gorm and Paul Tambini) and the film itself was edited on two VCR’s at the Bored Skateshop.
So if you are or were a Southsea local, love 90’s skating or just want to see some great skating, this wouldn’t be a bad way to spend just over half an hour of your time. Get that kettle on.
