Accrington’s skate scene and many more are awaiting the arrival of Chris ‘Avi’ Atherton‘s latest production that has been said to arrive before Xmas this year. The DVD is a collaboration with Jesse James, it’s said to be in it’s final stages and we cannot bloody wait to see what wonderful weirdness these two have come up with this time.
You may remember this previous production? NSFW whatsoever.

Sam Beckett carved wicked and took the honours at this weekend’s UK Vert Finals at Alexandra Palace, a comp that provided some incredible skateboarding on the day. Placed between the growling tones of various metal and punk bands on the stage next, this session yet again pushed UK vert skateboarding forwards from all involved on the coping. Andy Scott even treated the crowd to his infamous Scrambled Egg. Ridiculous trick.
The legends session was graced with skating from Steve Caballero and Christian Hosoi. Beckett took the £3000, Sam Bosworth came second and took home £2000, and third placed Jussi Korhonen went home with £1000 in his pocket.
Look out for a full feature from all of the bands involved on the day dropping in our music zine soon.

A new short video featuring Skatopia’s Brewce Martin from the CIA (Citizens Instigating Anarchy) was posted overnight with details that the Skatopia Movie: “88 Acres Of Anarchy” will be hitting iTunes and Google Play this December.
We have no update on Brewce’s health following a serious injury back in the summer of 2009 from a tyre explosion but hope he is back on it and blasting concrete again.
Watch the making of the movie here:
There’s nothing like waking up to some footage of San Francisco’s finest. Aptly released on the day of the election in the US, Dennis Busenitz throws his hat into the mix in the Presidential running with lines so fast that his filmer is literally left behind in the scramble. Brick Harbour bring you this one. Do it.
