Not so long ago we informed you about the ridiculous gnar-fest that is the King Of The Ramp competition being held on April 14th in Austria.

A trailer has been released to get you hyped for the fucking carnage that’s gonna go down!

It’s nearly ready for the public!

After numerous, shady missions into one of the finest pieces of concrete to be brought into London for a very long time, the skate rats of the big smoke will finally be able to skate this beauty legally! The opening day, on Friday 6th April looks set to be a wee extravaganza too.

The park’s official website has announced the day’s schedule to be as follows…

10am – 11am: Under 16’s ONLY, Ribbon Cutting and Press Photos
11am – 12pm: BMX warm up (Street), Skate warm up (Bowls)
12pm – 1pm : BMX warm up (Bowls), Skate warm up (Street)
1pm – 3pm : Best Trick / Jam session (BMX and Skating on rotation, managed by MC)
3pm – 4pm : Best Trick Final (as above)
5pm – 8.30pm : OPEN SESSION
8.30pm – 9pm : Clearing up! (Help welcome, particularly with clearing up the bodies from in the cradle!)

Mystery have announced their freshest Am. And it comes in the general shape and form of a very chilled, underground ripper, Jimmy Carlin.

The lad definitely won’t be slept on after the long awaited Mystery video, which should hopefully be dropping sometime in the summer. I for one can’t wait.

The rest of the Mystery boys are currently off filming in China. Exotic!

Skate MCR has joined forces with DVS to lay down a glorious event on every Sunday in April in the city of Manchester.

Aptly titled ASBO (April Skate Bonanza Ohyeah!), there will be a different competition at the four venues in which teams of three will compete.

If you reckon you and your mates can bring the session, pop over here for more information on registering your team. Judges from UKSA will be present to decide who gets their filthy mitts on the prizes.

Props must be delivered to the creators of the most stoked out flyer I’ve ever perused over. Check it!

On the 10th March, The Works skatepark up in Leeds teamed up with Matix Clothing and D.V.S to throw a stonking 5 man team competition labelled “We Are The Champions“.

Sir Kevin Parrot has knocked up a little video reminder for those present at the event, and some tasty footage of what went down for those who weren’t!

Blackout Skateboards may not be heard of here in the UK but they are sending out the right waves in terms of causing a big bang with their new promo video.

The Swedish crew also have a super fun video on their site in the Misc section featuring their riders skating an empty waterpark that looks fun as fuck.

In an amazing step ahead of the competition, Crossfire has joined the ranks of collaboration and cross branding to announce the release of the CITC shoe range.

Not quite, but it is Nicky Guerrero’s 30th anniversary of pushing the wood.

But instead of the traditional gift of pearls, those resistible fellows at Eastpak are making sure the celebration goes down with a bang by holding a glorious skate jam and signing session at The Works in Leeds on April 27th.
